Unacceptable Materials at Satellite Recycling Sites Causing Contamination
No trash, plastic bags, or construction materials permitted at these sites
The Town continues to experience unacceptable levels of contamination at its Satellite Recycling drop-off sites located at the rear of Town Hall and adjacent to Fire Company #4. Unacceptable materials such as plastic bags, household trash, and construction materials are being improperly deposited here and causing this contamination.
Residents should please keep in mind that only the following materials are accepted at these locations:
- Food & Beverage Cartons
- Junk Mail
- Magazines & Newspaper with Inserts
- Office Paper
- Beverage & Food Bottles and Jars
- Aluminum Foil & Containers
- Cans & Bottles
- Plastic Bottles
- Plastic Containers, Tubs, & Lids
Additionally, items should be empty, rinsed, and cleaned before depositing in these recycling containers. Do Not shred, box or bundle the items.
We should all do our part to contribute to the recycling efforts and sustainability of our community.
